"It's good to be back in school! Our enrollment is down a little but not as bad as many of the schools in the area. We had 224 students before the hurricane (Katrina) and as of today we have 206 active students. I attribute that to three things: A faculty who all returned; the Westbank of New Orleans not destroyed as much of the rest of the city; and the communications we were able to have with our parents during the evacuation and return through FAST DIRECT. Two of those three I really feel we owe you guys thanks for. Of the Lutheran schools that have reopened, most have reported that their numbers are down quite significantly. While you didn't have anything to do with the path of the hurricane, you did make it possible for Deb and I to communicate with many of our faculty and families while they fled to safety. I can't count the comments I have received from parents thanking us for keeping them informed."

"FastDirect is a wonderful tool for our school. I previously had used School Minder to track some of our school's information in a data base, it fell short of our expectations. FastDirect is tailored to the needs of a school system from attendance to financial record keeping needs. I have been using the system for a short period of time and cannot say enough about how receptive the employees of FastDirect have been with answering questions and modifying their program to meet our needs. My teachers seem to like it and it really saves me a lot of time. I love the way the parents can look at their financial account online and not have to call me to find out their balance. It is also wonderful to be able to send and receive messages from parents instead of answering phone calls."
